What "Should" a Blog Be?
I haven’t blogged very much because I’ve been trying to figure out what to write about. I’ve been told to keep away from the personal stuff and to offer free advice to my readers (which I do on social media). The truth is, I love to write. I love to share personal stories and connect with people on intimate levels. And running can be very intimate!
I recently attended a writing/yoga workshop with my good friend, Lisa Grunberger, who is an English professor, published author and playwright, and yogi. I wrote an “Ode to My Hips,” that I have been wanting to share. I plan to share my personal writing in this blog - I will discuss injury, mental health, body image, and anything else I feel like sharing. I hope you will read. Perhaps some of my content will resonate with you. And if you just want the running advice, I will be posting that on all of my social media accounts - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. You can follow me on any of these social media platforms by clicking on the appropriate icon at the bottom of this page.
